Grim Greek fate for Syrians fleeing civil war by sea

Hundreds of Syrians fleeing the violence in their country try to go to Europe in small boats from Turkey, a short 12 nautical mile trip. According to UNHCR, two major boating accidents have killed 28 Syrians and Afghans including Omar and his family since December, while almost 1,000 people have reached Greece's shores in the first three month of this year despite the risks involved.
